From the moment you walk through the doors of the beautiful Kimpton Bamboo Grove hotel, you’re immersed in the rich history and culture of Suzhou, China. The first Kimpton hotel in the Chinese mainland and the only luxury hotel in the Gusu area, the Bamboo Grove Hotel is primarily recognized as a leader in both design and hospitality.

Inspired by the historical gardens of Suzhou, the hotel’s interior design and architecture blends natural wonder and local flavor. To create moments where guests could enjoy serene landscapes, architecture and design firm SCDA integrated gardens reminiscent of ancient scenery into every open space. SCDA also referenced Soviet-style architecture and included pink walls, pavilions, and water pavilions in the design.

Contrasting these historically inspired architectural moments is minimalist interior design. Guest rooms have clean lines, crisp colors, and simple yet luxurious furnishings. KOHLER® bathroom fixtures enhance the modern elegance of the rooms. The Parallel™ single-handle bathroom sink faucets feature a harmonious blend of round and square shapes with a distinctive light and shadow effect and are paired with the Chalice round vessel lavatory, adding function and beauty to the space.
