The first property of its kind in China, the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel embraces its surrounding environment to create an atmosphere that’s both soothing and invigorating.

The JW Marriott Marquis brings a sense of quiet luxury to the bustling activity of downtown Shanghai. Taking its inspiration from the adjacent Huangpu River, the tower’s design incorporates elements of the natural world—punctuated by themes of flowing water. The lobby’s construction evokes the expanding lines of ripples, while the dramatic atrium plays with natural light and color, inviting visitors to take in the riverside scenery.

When crafting the guest bathrooms, the design team selected KOHLER® products that bring both modern elegance and touches of innovation. The Veil™ intelligent toilet offers balanced minimalism with high-end cleansing and comfort features. And contoured forms in a contemporary style make the Volute™ freestanding bath the ideal centerpiece for each space.
